Generative AI - Practical Use-Case
We all know Generative AI is a hot topic in the tech industry right now, but does it live up to the hype? In this new article DevIQ's Derek Davison outlines how DevIQ utilizes three different technical products (Amazon Bedrock, Databricks, Bast.ai) to highlight this technology's impressive capabilities.
DevIQ earns the impressive AWS Advanced Tier Partner designation
DevIQ has been working diligently on the requirements to earn the coveted and more exclusive "Advanced Tier" partner designation, reserved for AWS partners who have proven their technical expertise and earned many AWS certifications. This happened in September, and we couldn't be more excited.
DevIQ also recently earned the "GLUE Service Delivery Program" which validated our expertise in AWS Glue, a serverless data integration service that makes it easier to discover, prepare, and combine data for analytics, machine learning (ML), and application development.
DevIQ presented at a professional data-industry event in Colorado
Ryan Sappenfield from DevIQ recently presented technical information on how to successfully deploy a Data Lakehouse on Azure Databricks at an industry event. Topics included details on how to deploy the Azure storage accounts and Azure Databricks service in a secure and performant manner. Specifics were provided on best practices for implementing a medallion data architecture, data ingestion pipelines, separating the raw source data from the Databricks Unity Catalog managed business data and reporting with Microsoft Power BI.
Emphasis was placed on using Azure Databricks for Data Warehousing use cases and to optimize the use of storage and compute to not only be secure, but to provide the best TCO available by leveraging serverless SQL capabilities of the Databricks Lakehouse platform as well as additional AI optimization features of the platform.
DevIQ sponsored the event, providing drinks and pizza after the presentation.
